Love your work!

So yesterday was my very last day at Magic Springs and Crystal Falls amusement park. I love, love, LOVED working there. I had cool supervisors, hilarious coworkers, and operating rides is just fun! People at amusement parks are already generally in good moods, so it is so easy to just thrive off of that positive energy everyone is putting out. Also the break room food is yummy and cheap! I am seriously going to miss it soo much! My other job as a math tutor is awesome too, my boss Kim is one of my best friends and I want to be a teacher so I can't help but appreciate the experience.
I see so many of my friends who hate their jobs; they always talk about quitting & refer to it as a hell hole. I myself, when i was younger, 14, had a job telemarketing. It was an awful and very negative environment, i quit very quickly afterward.
My point is, find a job you can enjoy. A store that you shop at a lot so you can reap the benefits of discount, PetSmart if you love animals, a coffee shot if you enjoy that wonderful smell and the laid back indie environment, a theater if your a movie buff. You get the idea.
We are young adults, we have this short window of opportunity where we can have a low commitment job that is tons of fun without worrying about making shiz tons of money. Leave cleaning grease pans at Sonic to someone who doesn't realize that they have this choice... unless you enjoy cleaning grease pans then by golly get that job.
Hating your job leads to bad moods, being in a bad mood sucks for everybody. The people you work with have to deal with it, you have to deal with it, the costumers have to deal with it... until you get fired for coming to work in a bad mood everyday. Having a job you dislike is just selfish, not only does that bad mood ruin your day but think about your coworker who would love their job if only they had some other positive energy flowin' to work with. Or the person who would give anything to have the job you do, but can;t because the spot is taken by someone who doesn't even appreciate it.
I'm not saying to just go out and quit your job, i'm just saying it's a good idea to like your job. And even if you don't lie to yourself, it can be surprising the power we have over our thought processes and emotions towards things.
